It's funny how humans try and find temporary happiness, ephemeral solace in so many things - art, love, leisure, music - anything to keep the days passing by. It's only some of us who seek and understand true beauty - true beauty in the form of something everlasting, something eternal, unaffected and untouched by time, something that stays with us for as long as we live, and beyond our own lives. Beauty is not confined to an object, to a solid form that rests in front of our eyes, absorbing and reflecting light to form the three dimensions that we live in. It is a feeling that goes beyond our dimensions, it is the thought that lingers into the fourth. It is not the look of a fair maiden but the look of a lover that sets his eyes upon her, that makes her beauty true and wholesome. It is not the glow of your skin but the scars on your palms that are etched into forever, that reform your pains which stay even after you are long gone. It is not the love you feel for someone when they reach their hand out to you, it is the divine feeling of being able to hold their hand forever, even after your hand is no more.
Anything that goes beyond time, that flows alongside the rivers of eternity, has true beauty. Anything that time can touch yet not effect..is true beauty, is true immorality, and it is for those feelings, those sensations that we should live, not for the petty joys of a material world, but the transcendence of a world where clocks would tick, but in the fade away of the background.

THE intensity with which you write, has the the potential to sensitize an ordinary mind to so many beautiful and mystical things that life has to offer. you're blogs definately outlive the tag of merely being 'well written blogs'
i love you.<3 i want to be fortunate enough to keep reading your masterpieces! so YOU BETTER KEEP WRITING ! =D
oinky
:) <3
when she left me stranded on this island so full of nothingness..
i forgot tht feeling of being alive...
the time she flipped open her heart.. gave me a place to live..
so easy it was for her.. left me feeling so naive..
tday tht feeling still stays insde me..
as if ripped hearts were open to such pain...
i wish the feeling of sadness would stick around..
as if love had touched my lips again...
the girl i knew for no longer than a minute..
left such a deep holowness i feel the fear..
what can happn if i am affected o much...
by soemone who i love so dear..
BOO!
And boo to you too.
Poetry from Anonymous,
that's pretty good :).
hey why dont i get the HEART!!
:(
Because I have no idea who you are.
hmmm...
:(
well let me rite u another one...
never has a day goen by..
when flowers dint turn as pink as they are...
neevr hav i seen the clouds..
in a shape that our imagination has taken so far..
in yur eyes i still see the shine
that glimmer that made me want u
the stars dont need to twinkle tonight..
the moon can take a bit of rest too..
fr whn ur around to cherish my presense
i blink and ur gone and now ur back..
are u even real my love, or is it just me havin a nightmare in the sack..
her words remind me of ur beauty
her soul reminds me of u..
there has to be somthing there... truly...
aah.. these puzzles my mind's making me go thru..
why dont u jus come out and say it..
im ready to hear the truth..i really am..
but letme tell u sumtin bfroe u speak..
mayeb im not the person..not the same man..
i hav changed coz its been so long hasnt it..
my love, u knwo that as well..
i waited for u all day all night...
i walked and i ran and i tumbled and i felll...
who knew love wud be so surprisng..
when love defys logic without season..
i wait for god to tell me soem day...
why he created love. whats his reason...
BOO!
Ok, very nice.
And boo to you too.
Again.
"mayeb im not the person..not the same man.."
the word same's missin from the first part...
maybe im not the same person.. not the same man..
anyywas...
lets try another one..
u rmmber the time tht we sat down
to jot down the things we cudnt remmber
oh happy dasy they were werent they
those early, chilly days of december...
it dint snow there, but it was still quite cld..
we warmed eech other, sumhow tht was enuf..
we had grown on each other over the yers..
afeter all we had gone through times together tough..
but now thts the past and u cant recall
those days tht i spent looking at yu..
starin into ur dark brown eyes.. wondering to myself..
i thinks its time for me to say
BOO!
Seriously, who is this?
if u did liek what i wrote...
then i must tell u..
its somehow easy to write all tht..
before..i used to write only when i was sad or upset abt sumtin..
if u did liek what i wrote.. which is a great honor in itself..
then i blieve i can almost write "ggoood" poetry at any isntant...
lil suprising...to me too...
Everyone can write good poetry, including you.
But who are you?
everyone can write good poetry???
reaallllyy.....????
doesnt tht compeltely diminish the whole point of being a poet...??
or poetry for tht matter...
wow.. cant believ i jus heard u say tht...
Everyone has a poet inside, if you write, you're a poet.
Poetry is nothing but self-expression, just in a different form from speech and prose.
And you're still not answering my question.
why are students all over the world asked to study poetry.. understand and interpret...things that they can be writing themselves???
why dont teachers and students teach their own poetry everytwhere...??
if.. as u say.. everyone is a good poet...
if evryone couldv wriitn good poetry then value of poetry wud fade away in an instant..
which aperently hasnt happned yet...
has it??
Wow, this is freaky.
@ Anonymous:
Everyone is a good poet, but not everyone reaches in to take their thoughts out in form of poetry.
And people, at least I, don't write for the value of poetry, I write for myself and for my thoughts, so even if poetry's value is lost, which it never will because it is so personal, it wouldn't matter. My words would always flow and mean the world to me.
@ Nikhil:
Come again? What's freaky? The post?
aaaah... lovely.. u write for urself...
i see tht...
thats why all your blog entries are locked up and stored inside a large safe with a 200 digit combination...
Keep your judgements to yourself.
I meant this whole thing..
Anonymous postings..
my judgements???
isnt it true tht puttin ur poetry and writing on blgs is the least "prrivate" way ... to.. ehem..write for urself and for ur thoughts..
You'd understand what I mean if you'd try understanding rather than refuting.
Drop the anonymity or stop commenting please.
ur rite...
im sorry...
I agree with the post. Happiness and beauty lies within, you need not go look for it elsewhere.
I wrote about this some time ago in this post. Though in a completely different way.
This post was quite intriguing.
P.S. I absolutely love what you've written in your "interests" in your profile!
Thank you Alok :), though I don't get how your post and mine are related, they might be about time, but how are they both about the correlation between eternity and beauty?
And thank you again, there seemed to be no other place to put it, so interests it was.
Well, now that you've mentioned it, I had to go through the post and it is now that I fully understand what you wanted to say.
I thought the posts were related because they emphasize the self over the external factors that contribute to our sense of beauty and happiness.
Yes, beauty is eternal, but beauty is internal too. And unless a person finds the internal beauty, it is difficult for them to recognize that it is they who complete the "beauty", as you've written. Unless they first find their inner happiness and beauty, they won't be able to appreciate the fuller picture.
P.S. What you describe in you "Interests" is what I feel when I hear a good piece of Music, or read a good story, or watch a great movie. That is my definition of good art, something that makes me feel that way.
I think the one you should read is "It's in you". Just scroll down the blog and you'll find it. That one talks about how we decide everything in our life for ourselves.
Any the writing in my interests, is just the flicker of a moment when you something ordinary as out of this world :).
and*
The more I read it the more I can connect to it. The more I feel it. The third or fourth time I read it it actually made me cry. Not in a bad way though. It reminded me of so many people and parts in my life that I'd forgotten. People that maybe I never thanked enough for touching my soul. People I never how much they matter to me. It's beautiful Ankita and you have a gift. Use it well and I'm sure you'll touch a million lives and change peoples hearts and touch their souls or at least remind them how much someone else has touched theirs.
I don’t much care for what science has to say on this, for it is just an argument of mind. The realm of life is three-dimensional only because we make it so. Unfortunate, very, is the fact realm of life is still ‘only’ three-dimensional.
The thought instantly came to mind after reading this post of yours, which in itself is beauty manifested in a subtle form of inspirational words. Have not written anything myself for long, but your keyboard effort keeps me coming back... Hope to see you write more often.
